What better way to keep all of your memories in one place than in an easy-to-make DIY Milestone Memory Box where your kids’ can store their childhood treasures, such as sports medals, vacation souvenirs, special rocks and photos. I teamed up with Netflix and designed one that isn’t just a great place to store keepsakes, but one that is modern and would look awesome on a shelf as part of your kids’ bedroom décor.
- Wooden box from craft store
- Washi tape
- Mod Podge
- White paint
- Photos (I printed the 4”x4” square photos and wallet size at my local pharmacy’s photo department)
Step 1: Paint your wooden box white. You may need more than one coat. Let dry completely.
Step 2: Decorate your wooden box with washi tape.
Step 3: Decided how you’d like your photos arranged. One idea is to color coordinate your photos so they have a similar color scheme.
Step 4: Spread Mod Podge on the back of the photos and place them on the box. Spread Mod Podge on top of the photos. Let dry completely.
Step 5: Fill your box with your child’s favorite mementoes.
